If installed with both pins up then the gate can be removed easily. Installing one pin down prevents removal of the gate.

Pin plate is 1.5" wide x 5 3/8" high. From the center of the pin to the end of the bottom strap is 7". From the center of the pin to the end of the top strap is 11". See below to download templates
