Spring Latches
The Spring Latch is a very heavy duty latch that has been the mainstay used on larger wooden gates in England for well over one hundred years.

It is very robust and extremely functional.  For the equestrian it is ideal.  The spring latch is easily operated while handling a horse on a lead shank or even from horse back.
Fabricated from Heavy Spring Steel
Very robust latch 24" high
Can be operated from horseback
Fits 3" thick gates
Both Hot Dipped Galvanized and Black Polyester Powder Coat over HDG (BPPCG) finishes are available
Requires a square 6" x 6" post

Opens 180 degrees and all mounting hardware is out of the way when the gate is open
Livestock can push on the gate with no chance of them opening it
