HingeandLatch Gate Hardware guarantees all the HingeandLatch product to be free of defects in materials and workmanship in the item itself for the life time of the original purchaser. We will replace free of charge any product that breaks and is found defective The product must have been installed and maintained as per the instructions supplied with original product.
The black finish on the BPPCG product is a high quality polyester powder coating over hot dipped galvanized or stainless steel. Some dulling of the finish over the years is considered normal. Where steel parts regularly strike other steel parts the powder coat finish will chip or wear thin. This is to be expected and is not considered a defect.

For warranty claims you need to contact us at (877) 422-0242 or email us at Service@HingeandLatch.com. We will require digital photographs of the defective product or that it be returned to us. If we deem the failure is due to a defect in the product we will replace it free of charge. Shipping charges to & from the relevant US (Marysville, MI) & Canadian (London, ON)warehouses will apply. We cannot be liable for any problems with installation which results in damage to the product. All Gate Latches require that you install a gate stop to protect the latch from damage when slammed shut, failure to do this voids this guarantee.
Returns If you wish to return a product we will refund the cost of the product only, LESS a 10% Restocking fee and you must Action the return within 30 Days of Order. You will have to pay the cost of freight in both directions. Product must be returned intact and in its original packaging and totally unused.

In order to receive a refund the return must arrive back in Perfect Condition. Any damage will be reviewed and if it can be repaired costs to do this will be charged against the refund.
